On February 21 and 22, 2025, the Pestana Palace in Lisbon will host the
International Forum for Micro and Small Businesses – Digital Services and Solutions. Organized by the France-Portugal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFP) through its Setúbal – Lisbon delegation, the event aims to empower Portuguese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and create concrete opportunities for their expansion beyond borders.
The initiative, led by Leonel António Guerreiro, President of the Lisbon-Setúbal Delegation, focuses on digitalization as a key tool for internationalization. With 27 years of experience in strengthening economic relations between Portugal and France, Guerreiro highlights the event's importance for the Portuguese business sector, aiming to provide practical solutions, strategic partnerships, and new ideas for SME growth.

The event will feature international experts who will discuss digital strategies to optimize processes and facilitate entry into global markets. In addition to conferences and workshops, 25 exhibitors are expected to showcase innovative technological solutions and new business models. One of the key aspects of the initiative will be the interaction between entrepreneurs and consultants, allowing SMEs to explore new market opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
Digitalization is emerging as a crucial factor for the international competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. According to Leonel Guerreiro, technology simplifies processes, improves communication, and enables smaller businesses to access markets that would otherwise be difficult to reach. “This event is a unique opportunity for Portuguese SMEs to position themselves in the global market,” he emphasizes.
The International Forum for Micro and Small Businesses 2025 is part of a broader CCIFP strategy aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between Portugal and France while creating opportunities for Portuguese companies to gain greater international exposure. Registration for the event is now open and can be completed through the
organization’s official website.
