As we're looking ahead into 2021 there are strong trends emerging in the digital world that the pandemic has accelerated:
1. The future of work points to the big digital shifts in the workforce this is probably not a surprise the continued global competition forces companies to implement more efficient processes and use digital technologies like ai and automation for both revenue growth and cost containment. AI will get smarter and more jobs
will be augmented or replaced with bots and as a consequence we should expect more investments indigital and online training tools.
2. The second big trend is the increasing shift to asia. There has been tectonic shifts in asia that will further shape digital transformation in both the u.s and europe. Asian economies recovered from the covid disruption and asia just formed the world's largest
trading block court called the RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) which is made up of 10 Southeast Asian countries including South Korea, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. RCEP has twice as many people as the european union and nafta combined, covering 2 billion citizens, and more importantly, the
GDP of the countries in the RCEP exceed both the european union and nafta.
